1. Is the Jan Lok Pal Bill an appropriate response to the pervasive corruption that plagues Indian
society? What are its dangers?

2, The 2-G Spectrum scam has once again shown the Indian Media soundly asleep on its watch.
Except for a small newspaper in Delhi, the rest of the media did not have even a whiff of
the trouble brewing in high places. Have the Indian media become a fan club for corporates,
celebrities, power brokers and politicians?

3. The past few months have seen enormous changes in the fortunes of the dictators of the Middle
East and North Africa. What has touched off this sustained struggle for democracy among people
