Seamus Heaney

Irish writer Seamus Heaney died  on 29 August 2013. He had won the 1995 Nobel Prize in Literature.He published his first collection of poems, Death Of A Naturalist in 1966. He went on to become one of the English language’s leading poets.
Heaney worked as the professor of poetry at Oxford University between 1989 and 1994.  Heaney was known for works of lyrical beauty and ethical depth, which paid tribute to everyday miracles and the living past.
