The institutes of Kolkata support the required infrastructure and various diploma, bachelors, post graduation and certificate courses in Mass Communication. There are various criteria for eligibility like for B.A. (HONS) in Journalism and Mass Communication; a candidate must have scored at least 50% in aggregate and 50% in English. Plus the candidate must take Sociology as a Pass subject and choose English as the other subject but this varies from institute to institute.
